Healthcare Support Workers & Assistants

Healthcare Support Workers / Assistants are required for on-going part-time and full-time roles in Fareham, Portsmouth, Bishops Waltham and Waterloovile.

Successful applicants will be required to provide an enhanced DBS disclosure.

The role may include some or all of the following personalised care tasks:

• General well-being
• Getting up in the morning and going to bed at night
• Getting a job and Learning new skills
• Accessing sports, leisure and social activities
• Preparing a healthy, balanced meal and drink, taking into account likes and dislikes
• Managing bills and money,
• Aiding whilst shopping or attending social activities in the local community including GP appointments
• Light cleaning and laundry
• Managing medication
• Helping to get dressed and undressed
• Using the toilet and continence maintenance
• Bathing, toileting, oral and personal hygiene including hair care and shaving

You will receive regular on the job training including how to support individuals with their medication.

Driving your own car to and from work is not essential but would be a bonus since you would be expected to report to duty on time.
